I have a 13 year old wall oven that I am now getting an error message: F8EO Low fan speed underspeed, Product is experiencing a problem and can no longer be used. I tried the breaker several time and it works for a bit then the message comes back. There is no obstruction to the fan. Should I replace the oven or repair it? Thanks for any insights
Brand: Model Number: JJW3430WB Main Symptom: cooling fan not working What happens & when:
Error Code (if any):F8E0 Low fan speed underspeed
Parts or tests already tried: did the breaker several times, no obstruction to the fan in the unit

Whether to repair or replace is ultimately a judgment call. Since the cooling fan assembly is available, replacement is certainly an option if testing confirms the fan or sensor is faulty.
Before replacing parts, I recommend performing the following diagnostic tests:
Low-Speed Blower Motor Test
Measure resistance from Rear P9-2 (Gray) to Neutral (White).
Expected reading: approximately 163 Ω at 21°C (70°F).
With the motor operating, verify 120 VAC is present.
High-Speed Blower Motor Test
Measure resistance from Rear P8-4 (Gray/Black) to Neutral (White).
Expected reading: approximately 117 Ω at 21°C (70°F).
With the motor operating, verify 120 VAC is present.
If either winding is out of specification, or if the proper voltage is present but the blower does not run correctly, the cooling fan assembly ( WPW10273667 Blower (Right Side) | Genuine Whirlpool OEM In Stock ) should be replaced. If the blower motor tests good and operates properly but the F8E0 error persists, further diagnosis of the wiring harness, fan speed sensor, or main control board may be necessary.
Thank you for taking the time to respond with such detail and directions. Since I am a 71 year old woman I think I am going to replace the oven, but I do appreciate the feedback
