What happens & when: It’s only happened once because I stopped using it. The utility room/into the house smelled like burned rubber/fire after one cycle went through. No error code showed up. Clothes smell like burned rubber. Small plume of smoke filled the air.

Check the door boot on the unit and make sure that it is not damaged and check to ensure that the outer tub has not been damaged.
