Brand: Samsung
Model Number: WF364BVBGWR/A2 WF364BVBGWR/A2 | Samsung Support CA
Main Symptom: Faulty door lock
I’ve had issues with this washer recently, where it pauses and fails to continue mid-cycle, the door refuses to unlock when shut off or turned on, and it thinks that the door is open despite it being closed and locked, refusing to start a cycle. Errors like dS, FL and L0 appear occasionally (all for-lock related). To resolve these issues, I have repeatedly drained the emergency drainage tube and cleaned the filter, turned off the child lock, and tried running short draining cycles to little avail. Recently the door got stuck, and only after being powered off for a day and reactivated did it promptly unlock. I assumed it might be a faulty door lock assembly, and I noticed that the door lock on this machine looks different and doesn’t appear to have an unlocking tab like other Samsung washers do.

What might be the root cause of these issues? Should I aim to replace the door lock assembly, which I haven’t found any replacement sources for, or get a new washer?

Error Code (if any): L0, FL, dS appearing on the screen
