Like a sewagey smell. Its gone now though. Yes it makes a cracking noise when supposed to be draining and at the start of the cycle. Thank you so much for responding to me.
Yes i’ve checked its not inserted too deep. Do you think seizing bearings could be the problem? Because my machine spins but it takes a bit of effort to turn when i try to turn the drum with my hand.
The sewage like smell may have been from the drain backing up and it may be worth checking to verify it is clear. It is possible that bearings starting to seize could cause the clothes to not spin out properly, but that usually comes with a different error code associated with it. When the drain pump makes the cracking sound, is it continuous almost as if the plastic blades of the impeller might be hitting something? It is very likely that there is something in the impeller housing hitting against the impeller blade, which will cause the noise and the drain issue (if the rest of the drain system is clear). The drain pump can be removed from the housing and inspected for any debris. If there is debris, it would need to be removed. There is a chance that debris could damage the impeller, making the drain pump a potential replacement. Is there debris in the drain impeller section of the housing?
