Brand: Samsung
Model Number: WF45R6100AC
Main Symptom: Does not fill with water
What happens & when:

I have a Samsung WF45R6100 AC washing machine. I was utilizing the rinse and spin with one rinse when the machine showed error code SC.. I unplugged the power cord and cleaned out the filter on the lower front left of the machine, which wasn’t very bad, and put it back together.

About an hour later, I went back downstairs and plugged in the washing machine and turned it on to the same rinse in spin with one rinse now there is no error message but no water is entering the washing machine . I have removed both hot and cold fill pipes and cleaned out the screens and replaced them with no success in operation of the machine. Looking at my owners manual the SC error message indicates to me that it might need a drain pump, but why would the water not enter the washing machine? Did I do something to a setting somehow by leaving the washer unplugged from the power source for an hour.

Error Code (if any): SC then SC went away with no other error code showing up

When the washer is started, does it hum at the back from the valves or are they quiet?

I am assuming the hum I hear is the valves.

If the hum is coming from the back near the valves and not from the front near the drain pump, the water supply valves may need to be double checked to ensure they are on. If they are and the hoses are not kinked, the next step would be identifying if 120 Volts AC is reaching the specific valve (cold or hot valve depending on the temperature selection). Let me know what you find and we can go from there.
