Brand: Samsung Model Number: WA52A5500AV/US Main Symptom: Not draining all of the water out. What happens & when:
After the washing cycle is complete there is no water in the tub itself but if I shake it a little bit I can hear water moving around under the tub. I replaced the water pump and still have this problem. I did the diagnostic test on the unit but the only code it came up with is “4C”. After cleaning the filters on the hot and cold water lines I ran the test again and that code was gone… There are no codes now.
Is this normal to have water under the tub after a wash cycle. or do I have a different issue besides the water pump?

Hello again, I opened the washer and stuck my head down as far as i could go and moved the tub around and it did sound like there was water on the bottom. I took the agitator out of the washer and saw some water under it… At the very bottom of the tub. Is this normal for this washer?? My girlfriend says that the water on the bottom becomes stagnant after a few days without being used… and she wants to have a technician take a look at it… I just hate paying someone $100 just to look at it and say it is ok to have a little water there… Thx again.
On your model there should not be any standing water in the bottom of the Tub. How is your drain hose connected? Does it have to drain up more than about 4 feet? You always have a little water left in the tub due to back flow from the drain hose when the pump stops
