Main Symptom: Ice maker DA97-15217 only makes a single dump of ice when pressing test button on ice maker.
What happens & when: doesn’t continue to make ice and fill the ice bucket. I have replaced the ice maker but this is what it is doing now.

Parts or tests already tried: replaced ice maker and removable ice holder

When it makes ice, does it eject the cubes by itself or do they only get ejected from the ice maker when you run another test cycle?
It does eject the ice by itself. It is now making ice but very slowly. It’s been about 36 hours and the ice bucket is about 1/2 full. I’ve tested the temperature in the icemaker and it ranges from about 3 to 10 degrees. When I replaced the icemaker unit it was all pretty iced up and there was a lot of ice in and around the auger motor that needed to be melted away. The auger does push and crush ice, but how can you tell if the fan or sensors are functioning properly on the auger unit.
