Parts or tests already tried: I think part DG94-01273A may potentially fix the issue but not sure. Would like confirmation given the pics we have uploaded.

With the door not closing all the way, the hinges would be the correct part to replace.
For this symptom, **DG94-01273A (**https://www.appliancepartspros.com/samsung-assy-hinge-main-dg94-01273a-ap6245063.html (main door hinge assembly) is a very strong suspect.
The key clue is:
“Door will not sit flush at the top anymore”
When a hinge bends, weakens, or partially breaks, the top of the door will stick out slightly. The range’s door switch or door sensing system then interprets the door as open, causing the door open light and warning message even when the door appears closed. DG94-01273A is listed as the main door hinge assembly for this model.
Open the door about 4–6 inches.
Compare the left and right sides.
Does one side droop lower?
Is there excessive play or wobble on one side?
Close the door slowly and look across the top gap.
Is the gap larger on one side?
Does the top corner stick out?
If yes, that almost always points to a hinge issue.
Less common but worth checking:
Door switch/micro switch problem – If the door sits perfectly flush and aligned but the control still reports “door open,” the switch could be faulty. This model uses a door switch assembly as part of the door sensing circuit.
Damaged door receiver/latch area – If the hinge is good but the door is not fully engaging the switch.
Loose door glass/frame screws – Rare, but can allow the door to twist enough to miss the switch.
Because the door is visibly not flush at the top, I would diagnose in this order:
Inspect left and right hinges for distortion or looseness.
Verify the door closes evenly across the top.
If a hinge is bent or weak, replace the affected hinge assembly (DG94-01273A is the primary suspect).
Only move to door-switch testing if the door alignment looks perfect after hinge inspection.
Confidence: About 85% hinge-related based on the door no longer sitting flush. A failed switch alone typically does not cause the door to physically sit proud at the top.

If the oven door was closing properly before the hinge replacement, the new hinges themselves are usually not the problem. The most common cause is that one or both hinges were not fully seated in the hinge receivers during installation. Even being off by a fraction of an inch can leave the top of the door sticking out.
Here’s what I would check:
Remove and reinstall the door.
Open the door fully.
Flip the hinge locking tabs down.
Close the door to about a 5° angle and lift it off.
Reinstall the door, making sure both hinge arms are fully inserted into the bottom of the hinge openings before opening the door completely and locking the hinge tabs back into place. If the hinges are not completely seated, the door will not sit flush.
Compare both hinges.
With the door removed, verify both hinges are extended to the same position.
Make sure the locking tabs are fully engaged after installation.
Inspect the hinge receivers in the range frame.
Check the door gasket.
Inspect the inner door frame.
Thanks - we already viewed the video. The difference is that the video shows a single door vs ours is a double door with divider. The only thing i can think of is that the dividing plate in the oven was backwards where the divider marked as “Front” was actually in the back. I suppose it is possible that that door got somehow warped because of that but everything looks good in terms of the gasket liner and the door locking mechanism is not preventing the door from being closed all the way as far as we can tell. The door doesnt appear to be unlevel though.
Did you correct the issue with the divider? If so did it correct the problem?
I’m really grasping at straws it seems you’ve already done everything I can think of and more
I did and it is still not fully closing. I actually removed it for now to see if that would help, which it didnt. Is it possible that the posts inside the oven (which the door hinges attach and lock into) are off?

I took a small level and when the door is fully open, it is definitely not level and lower towards the top of the door, which would make sense why a gap near the top when the door is shut. I also dont think it has anything to do with the door hinges for the top half of the door as things snap and lock fine when holding down the latch and opening that top half door.
At this point I would say there is a strong possibility that the posts are damaged in some way
Do you know if the posts should have some play, or should it be solidly locked in place. When the door is off, i can move it slightly side to side (not so much vertically) without much force.
Also, it doesnt appear to be a repleable part anymore based on the URL i provided in my last update? Or at least i cannot find the exact newer part.
I would say the play you are experiencing and the fact that the door hangs down at the topo when opened is a pretty fair indication that those posts are damaged and regretfully they are not serviceable
ok, bummer - if by any chance it is related to the inner gasket, how badly damaged (or in what way) would then need to be damaged to where that would be the cause. I am just trying to think of other root causes which could be impacting this. I honest dont know if it is the posts themselves as there is no vertical play (only slightly sideways)
I found what i think are the parts elsewhere online, but not sure since you say its not serviceable (or perhaps you mean the part is no longer available for sale on AppliancePartsPros.com
We don’t show it as a serviceable part from the factory documentation, As far as damage to the pins that can be caused by a lot of things including wear and tear
