Samsung fridge RF28K9380SR/AA-Rev. 02

Having trouble with fridge not cooling looking to diagnose with voltmeter

Looking for values of thermostats and fan motor.

Error 40 C which says ice room fan OR sensor, so I was wondering how to determine. Thanks so much.

That should just be an ice maker fan error, when it talks about sensors it is referring to the feedback from the fan to the board.

When that fan is supposed to be running you should get 7v-14v DC from blue to gray wire on the harness coming from the machine that connects to the harness for the fan. If the fan AP5621005 is running then it is usually either the fan not sending feedback or the main board AP6025050 has a problem.

Would the rest of the refrigerator eventually ice up from over working because of this? Because if we leave it on it just gets warmer and warmer. Its now unplugged by the way waiting to be fixed.

The Direct Cool ice maker systems on these can cause a lot of strange issues, it would not surprise me if it caused cooling issues in the fridge section or both sections.
