Samsung DV42H5200EP/A3 will not turn on at all

Model Number: DV42H5200EP/A3
Main Symptom: No power to unit
What happens & when: Dryer is plugged in and will not power on when pressing the power button

Error Code (if any): No display/codes
Parts or tests already tried:

-Circuit breaker on/off test

-dryer reset (2 buttons 5 sec each)
-power at cord checked at 240v

-power at control board motor relay has no voltage, replacement refurbed board purchased but still same.

-Moved on to check if something else was preventing power to the board.

-thermal fuse was checked for continuity and seemed fine

-thermistor was checked as ok

-motor belt switch continuity was fine

-door switch also seemed ok

-Heating element was also checked and didn’t appear to be shorting anywhere.

Honestly not sure what else to check and think it’s probably unlikely that the refurb board arrived dead.

If you check the black wire at the motor relay to chassis ground are you getting any voltage?

I don’t remember exactly but I think I checked that as well and was not getting any voltage

If you’ve got voltage at the terminal block but not at the board, especially if you are missing L1 voltage when checked to chassis ground, then you’re looking at a wiring issue on the main harness DC93-00466A. If you had voltage to chassis ground but not to neutral at the board then I’d suspect a bad door switch.
