Using a multimeter check for 240VAC at the element when the dryer is running in a heat mode. If you have 240vac the element is the issue. If you do not have 240VAC then check the circuit back through the thermostats all the way back to the control until you locate where the power is lost.

How do I check for 240v at the element while the dryer is running? I can’t get to the element when the dryer is all together and I can’t run the dryer with it apart.

Testing at the board one lead on the L2 at the terminal block and the other lead on the blue wire coming off the heater relay #2 … you should read 240VAC. if you have it there the other possibilities are the thermostats and or the centrifugal switch in the motor.
If you don’t have the 240vac the issue is with the control.

Ok so I was able to hook my multi meter up to the 2 terminals of the heater. When I turned on the dryer I was only getting 120V.

Ok making some headway. The breaker flipped on one of the phases. Now the question is why does it keep flipping the breaker?
