Rubbing sound after replacing transmission in Whirlpool washing machine (LSQ9264HQ0)

I replaced the transmission in our Whirlpool washing machine (LSQ9264HQ0). The washing machine now operates, agitates and spins like it should, but it’s making a kind of rhythmic rubbing sound when agitating and spinning. I also replaced the clutch with the transmission because it looks pretty bad with oil and stuff on it. I also cleaned up what I could around the rest of the parts as it looked pretty bad under there. We also had oil on the floor under the machine.

Now I’m wondering if I removed grease from something that needed it when I was cleaning up or if there is some other issue with the replacement parts. It seemed like everything went back together fine and the machine seems to operate correctly it’s just louder than it was before and it seems like something is rubbing/squeaking when the machine spins or agitates.

Anyone have any ideas what might be the cause?

The only place that grease or oil would come from would be the gearcase or the bearings inside the spin tube. Take the basket out and see if it still makes the noise, if it does, it has to be something in the gearcase or clutch, if it goes away then the basket is touching something and causing the noise.
