Replacing Membrane Switch

Hi Shorner- I’m sure you figured it out but to add to the string for others doing the same I might add that when we do this for customers here at https://www.iptechllc.com/membrane-switches we also pay great attention to cleaning the surface after the old adhesive membrane switch is removed. Depending on the materials, often the old adhesive can be left behind similar to removing a label or tape from something when it leaves some behind. Depending on the membrane switch construction, the slightest bumps or anomalies on the surface could cause a membrane to malfunction- Be terrible to ruin a new stitch placing it over some inclusions on the surface. Wiping with alcohol is good to do as well.
