If the model number could be provided, it may help to see what parts are involved. Also, what was the original issue that resulted in the spark module being replaced?
I cannot see the model # on the faded label. None of my burners (6) or ovens would light. I’ve had to use a long BIC lighter to light them.
I replaced one of two spark modules (on the reccomendation from an electrician who looked at my stove) and now both ovens and the two middle burners will light when I turn the knobs. The other 4 burners (2x2) just click quickly but do not light.
The igniters and wires would need to be checked for any damaged sections, including think insulation that may be allowing the spark to ground out before getting to the burner heads. The burner heads could also be thoroughly cleaned near where the igniters would arc, as well as where they contact the top panel, to ensure there is not an issue there. If there is not a visible issue, try switching one of the fast sparking igniter wires from the terminal it is connected to over to one of the igniter terminals that are working properly. Does the fast spark change to the other igniter?
I’ll try to locate the right wires. everything runs underneath a metal panel and then comes out through holes in that same panel. Adding to it is that all the burner wires appear to be the same color. LOL. Thanks for your help. I thought changing out the madule would solve it all.
