Replaced motor in Maytag LSG7804AAE but new motor does not start

Brand: Maytag
Model Number:LSG7804AAE
Main Symptom: Replaced original dryer motor b/c of noise. New dryer motor will not run at all.
What happens & when: repair person replaced the original dryer motor (unit purchased in 1995) on this unit. The new motor (W10411000 from Whirlpool) has a different connector but comes with a schematic which is supposed to explain the new connection. New motor does not turn on at all. We thought it was a bad motor so they ordered a second one, installed it, and the same problem. There seems to be some mismatch between the replacement motors and the original motors. Can you help with this?

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: replaced motor twice

Could a picture of the motor wiring be provided? This will allow me to see how it was wired in comparison to what it should be. Also, was it verified that there were no loose wires?

thank you for the quick reply. I am asking whether a photo was taken. The unit is closed up now. Do you know if there has a been an issue for others with compatibility or wiring on these new replacement motors with the older stacked units? I had them reinstall the old motor (which has other problems) just as a test and it does rotate once powered. So what ever is providing power to the motor is OK. It is just the new motors don’t respond.

There have not been any issues that I know of as far as installing the motor onto older models.
