Replacing DA97-23025A

This assembly is part of the refrigerator’s water supply/filter system. I would approach it this way:

  1. Unplug the refrigerator.
  2. Shut off the house water supply to the refrigerator.
  3. Dispense a little water to relieve pressure in the system.
  4. Remove the water filter.
  5. Remove the refrigerator shelves/drawers necessary to access the filter case area.
  6. Remove the screws securing the filter case cover/housing.
  7. Carefully pull the assembly forward enough to access the connections.
  8. Take a picture of every water tube and electrical connector before disconnecting anything.
