Remove cover from Samsung WA54M8750AV/A4

Main Symptom: Need to remove top cover
What happens & when: need to replace the inlet valves and can’t remove the cover to do this.

This video shows all I need to do but they make removing the cover much easier than it it. I’m about to just say heck with it and rip it off hulk style!

Yeah there are several clips that have to be depressed & it still comes down to patience and careful application of pressure. Can you tell me exactly where you are running into an issue

Thanks! I feel like I have the left and right sides loose but something along the middle is holding it down. I’ve pulled hard on the left and right and surprised I haven’t broke it off yet, but it’s still connected pretty good somehow

There are 3 catches along the top front you may have to twist and press along that edge to release it

I would press on the lid side? I’ve slid my paint scraper across and under it and I can’t feel where anything is in the way like a clip

Its usually little tabs formed from the plastic of the cover

Are there any images available showing what the other side of that lid looks like?

I was not able to find very many images at all and none showed the underside

Do you know where I can download a service manual for this model? I’m still not getting anywhere with it.

Or maybe draw on a top view of the cover to show exactly where these clips are located?
