Fridge gets way to warm before it turns on. When it turns on Fridge works fine.
Check that all connections in the machine compartment and the connection to the control box in the fresh food section are fully seated. If those are good and the condenser fan is not coming on as soon as the compressor kicks in, replace the condenser fan 5304519734.

I’m so sorry I said condenser fan. I meant evaporator fan. In the freezer
The condenser fan comes on as soon as the compressor does.
So I hope a bit more info helps- The fan doesn’t come on until the fridge is over 50 degrees. Makes no bad noise and when it does come on the air is very cold and the fridge gets to 36 and freezer to 0 or a little lower. Then it does that all over again. The defrost timer is mechanically moving. I have not removed the back panel to check icing.
That evaporator fan 242219206 should be the same way, running whenever the compressor and condenser are. We’re pretty much still at the same process, check connections behind the evaporator cover are full secured and at the control box, if all that looks good replace the fan.
