Kenmore (Frigidaire) standard QuietGuard dishwasher. The dishwasher was running and I opened the door to add a dish. Now the door will not close, the latch will not click. Is something locking it? Is there a sequence of controls I can press?
I’ve turned the circuit breaker on and off. The green washing light will go on, but it blinks. Water has not drained.
Sounds like the latch may have messed up. Have you tried pushing in on the door some??
I’ve pushed on the door many times.
Look at the latch and try activating it with the door open to see what it does.
Also may want to make sure the latch on the tub is secure.
Yes tub latch is secure. There seems to be no movement of the door latch mechanism when I move the latch.
Pobably lostor broken a spring on the latch. Not looking at your breakdown at the moment.
