While cleaning the dishwasher from inside, I pulled out the floater. The little brass screw has fallen out from the bottom of the floater switch now. With the dishwasher still installed under the counter, I am not able to put the screw back on to the floater from under the switch with my hand. What is the easiest way to put the screw back on? Also, if the screw is not on, would the dishwasher overflow or cause any other problem? I know that the floater is not going to fall off without the screw. Thanks. Please reply anilc@nortel.com

If you cannot get it on remove the switch bracket and then put it back on.

Cannot say depends which way the switch would move should it come loose.
If the switch actuation lever/arm drops away from the float shaft then the unit will not fill with water.
