According to the pump and motor parts diagram, part 16 (pump gasket) must be replaced anytime the pump assembly is removed or reinstalled.
However, the diagram does not show where part 16 goes. Does anyone know?
This gasket goes around the sump.

It is the bottom part of the pump which goes into the tub (#25 on the diagram).
