This is in reference to a Frigidaire Dishwasher Model # FDB857RJB0. I am attempting to replace a couple of worn nylon rollers (rack support) on the diswasher tub wall. The screw which attaches them is not a standard screw head configuration. I assume it may be a Torx head screw but am not certain. Can anyone identify the precise type and size for me as I will probably need to purchase a driver to fit them? Thank you.
I cannot tell you what size it is but if I was you I would buy a set with an inter changeable handle. A set with 5 to 10 Torx with the one you need in it should not be that expensive.
The next time you need a Torx odds are it would not be the size you bought.
Also try to get the security type re: there is a hole in the center of the bit.
Manufacturer’s are staring to use a Torx that has a pin in the center so that a normal Torx will not fit in.
I have a set with a two way handle, 8 Torx and two flat and Phillips bits that set me back about $10.00.
Ok, Thanks much. I appreciate the advice…
