Howdy folks!!!
I’m not sure of the age of the machine, but it runs through all the cycles fine. The problem is that it doesn’t have enough pressure to push the water through the upright tube to the upper arm and accuate it. It doesn’t really sound quite right, either. Like, maybe there’s a leak somewhere allowing the water to escape from the pump or propeller.

Could be the pump has a partially clogged filter, sometning in the impeller, etc.

Also may be that the unit is not filling to the correct level.
Most units fill to just under the heating element but some are just over the element, not sure which this is.
If it seems low add a couple quarts of hot water after it fills. If the problem disappears then odds are that the screen filter on the input side of the fill valve is dirty. remove the valve from the unit and check/clean it.
Do not permanently remove the screen from the valve as it is there to prevent crud from getting into the valve, holding it open and causing a flood.
Thanks, denman, I appreciate the help. Kinda funny I can rebuild a bike from scratch blindfolded but don’t know how a dishwasher operates!!! I’ll check out the links you took the time to find for me, and see if I can’t make the ol’ lady smile again…afterall, I do love her like no other!!!
denman…I put about a 1/2 gallon of hot water in after the DW filled…it’s working fine!!!
Now, all I have to do is figure out which parts to order and get them coming my way. Any ideas?

You may not have to order anything.
Usually this is just a dirty screen filter on the input side of the water inlet valve.
Remove the valve from the machine, clean the screen and you should be good to go.

I won’t leave the screen off. It’s there for a reason.
Can all this be done while the machine is under the counter, or do I need to pull it out?

You should be able to, I think it is mounted behind the kick plate, left hand side.

You may not even need it, often it is chunks of scale that are blocking it.
CLR should not hurt it if you have a mineral coating on the screen.

I am off to the lake for a few days so hopefully we have troubleshot this correctly.
Yep…I’ll let ya know how things turn out. It may be a few days. I gotta work my rotation and take my turn at jury duty!!! After that, I’ll be able to take a look at this thing and see what’s up.

Okay, here’s a quick update…I pulled the fill valve, tore it down, and there was a piece of lime scale blocking over 1/3 of the sceen. I thoroughly cleaned it, put everything back together, replaced all the missing screws, yada, yada, yada…worked great for one cycle!!! So, my guess is that the shut off valve hasn’t been used in quite a while and after exercizing it, some scale broke loose and plugged the screen again. So, I’ll tear it down again and see what I’ve got. I may exercize the valve a bit and run the thing through a couple cycles to try and get all the scale through the line.
Any thoughts, ideas?
