No heat in LG dryer, ignitor, sensor, gas valve coils ok

Main Symptom: No heat
What happens & when: Dryer runs when started, all indicators/cycles seem to light and work when buttons are pressed. No flame, ignitor is good but doesn’t glow when connected to harness

Error Code (if any): None
Parts or tests already tried: Ignitor glows when connected to external 120v source but won’t glow when connected to the dryer harness, ignitor sensor has good continuity, all lights/buttons work, motor spins. Both gas valve coils test with 1900 ohms resistance. There are two other identical looking small sensors on the gas tube, one I think is a thermistor, the other a thermostat? They look identical. One has continuity, the other does not. No gas flows from valve, gas is present in the line and turned on.

If there is no continuity on the thermostat or thermal fuse then this will need to be replaced.

Hi, thanks for responding. That little sensor had a tiny white button. When I pressed it, it clicked and I got continuity. Dryer is now heating on Permanent Press and Heavy Loads…
