From what I can find, there may not be a damper used with this model. If you place your hand at the vent in the back of the refrigerator, do you feel any air come through? If not, open the freezer door and check again. Does air come through the refrigerator vent in either case?

Thanks for you reply. Was confused that we couldn’t find the damper door. There is no air coming through the refrigerator vent with both doors open. Very interesting as the fan is running. Wondering where that air is going.

If you access the evaporator cover in the freezer and remove it, is there anything blocking the vents going down into the refrigerator?

No blockage. This is strange.

Used a leaf blower to check air flow. Both refrigerator vents flowed air. So confusing.

The only thing I can think of is the internal control on the fan motor may be reversing polarity, which can cause the fan to run backwards. This would create airflow in the freezer but not allow the air to circulate into the fresh food section. 4681JB1027N Fan Motor (Dc) | Genuine Lg OEM In Stock

Reversing? Wow. There is no end to the possibilities. Yes, the part you provided is the correct one according to Sears. However, it is not the correct one. My motor has four wires instead of three. Googled the part number on my motor and the Google AI listed a new part number which is the updated one. Or at least we hope so. So ordered this part and have my fingers crossed that this solves the problem.
