The red wire is your voltage supply, the white wire is neutral, the tan wire leads to the valve, and the green wire is ground.

Since the ice maker isn’t running, you can start with a quick voltage check at the ice maker motor module:

  • Test from L to N to see if voltage is present.

If voltage is there, use a jumper wire from T to H to try starting a harvest cycle:

  • If the ice maker doesn’t harvest, it’s failed.

  • If it does harvest and fills with water, then check the freezer temperature with a thermometer.

If the temperature is below 10°F and the issue continues, that confirms the ice maker has failed. If you found anything different during testing, it can potentially point to a different cause of failure.
