What happens & when:
The freezer works well at the bottom but not at the top.

Hello, when you open the freezer door you should hear the evaporator fan running. If you don’t it is probably bad. If it is running, there could be an airflow issue involving the return vent at the bottom of the freezer section, next to the evaporator coils. If the evaporator coils are iced up, there is a defrost problem.
