Further info: I am told that I can’t just replace the gas solenoid coils - GE requires the entire Burner & Gas Valve Assembly has to be replaced. Is this true?

That is true it comes as a whole assembly ( GE WE03X29452 Dryer Gas Valve And Burner Assembly | Genuine OEM Part )

Thank you for the response

Is testing the coils for failure the same on this unit as it is for other dryers that allow replacement of the coils only? When I tested the resistance across the terminals on the 2 terminal coil, it read OL (no continuity). Same on the three terminal coil. I assume this means I will need to replace the whole gas valve and burner assembly?

Yes your coils have failed
