My dryer takes to long to dry. I took off the front panel to look inside I had replaced the drum belt about a month ago and cleaned every thing inside and the vents I see that the igniter glows and the flame goes on but it only stays on for a few seconds and then turns off the dryers never gets hot enough to dry it takes about 4 cycles to dry I have read so many trouble shooting things that I am sort of confused I guess I need to buy a meter so that I can read the ohms…HELP:confused:
With faulty gas valve solenoids their really ain’t no way to check em with a meter. If your gas dryer has a good flame sensor and a good igniter AND the dryer will work some and quit, replace these: [LEFT][/LEFT]

Replacing them is easy. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver. Make sure the quick connects are tight. And do not touch
the ignitor when doing this operation:
