If the basket will not turn at all, it is going to be the motor or motor control located at the bottom of the washer

Is theirs any way to test with a meter to confirm which is bad?

There should be a tech sheet on the washer, probably inside. It should show you step by step how to ohm out the windings.

Ok. The pins ohm out just a tad over 6 ohms each. So I assume the motor is good.

Is there a way to check the incoming voltage from the board to the motor to see if that’s correct. If so what should I see on the what pins at the motor.

Thanks

They don’t give a good way of testing the MCU, so I would look for DC voltage at the violet wire going to the motor. Probably 12 volts, not sure, and the wiring diagram does not say. You are just looking for DC voltage. No volatage, replace MCU

So I’m reading 161 volts dc on the violet pin and my ground is one of the green/yellow ground wires. When it should be running the motor. Using a fluke 87 multi meter

It is either the motor or the MCU. Your motor pins ohm out, there is a tachometer in the motor that could be bad. It looks at the speed of the motor and tells the main control what’s going on as to the speed and direction. You are getting DC voltage to the motor, I just don’t know if that is what it is supposed to read as normal. The tech sheet really does not help us much at this point. I would lean towards the MCU, but it’s your money I am gambling with.

Ok. I’ll start there. Fingers crossed
