Maytag Washer transmission replacement. Different sized agitator spline shaft

Brand: Maytag Bravos XL Washer
Model Number: MVWB855DC3
Main Symptom: Replacement transmission (Part #W11393685) improper fit.
What happens & when: I replaced my transmission and when I got everything put back together, I realized that the agitator spline shaft on the replacement transmission is small and does not seat correctly inside the rotor. The original part has a spline gear on the agitator axle and it appears to be machine pressed on. I have spent an hour plus on the phone with customer service and they just keep telling me they sent the correct part. However the replacement part is not the same. I was advised by customer service to post on here and hopefully get more answers.

The metal insert from the old rotor is still stuck on the end of your old transmission, that’s wht they appear different sizes and why the rotor won’t fit onto the new transmission. You’re going to need a new rotor ( Whirlpool W10915701 Washer Motor Rotor | Genuine OEM Part )
