Main Symptom: Won’t Spin
What happens & when: Machine washes, agitates rinses drains and eventually throws SD error. Machine runs its 25-30 minute routine to try correcting error . Eventually shuts off. Have run Automatic Diagnostic Test Mode gets to C9, Drains but does not spin. Saved Fault Code F71. Went to Manual Diagnostic Test Mode : Steps 1 & 2,Water Valves Check, Fabric Softener Valve Check, Bleach Valve Check, Pumps Check, Lid Lock Check, RPS Check, Spin Failed, Agitates Check, Heater Check. Drum spins freely by hand.

Have visually checked machine/motor control P5 & P10 connectors. Checked motor connections.

The SD and F71 are the same code. It indicates suds detection. This will most likely be caused by a bunched load, excessive or wrong detergent usage or a mechanical friction on the drive mechanism, not allowing the motor to spin properly. Check for something caught between the baskets and check to ensure that there is nothing causing friction on the drive system.
