Matching existing burner to the one that matches with model? New burner has an added blue wire connected plus the 5 sluts for my wires. My old burner doesn't have a blue wire connected. I was told, that I don't need it

Main Symptom: burners don’t work correctly, replacing
What happens & when: Need to know if I can use the part that was recommend even tho it has an extra two sluts with a blue wire already connect on the pic. I was told that I don’t need it and to remove it. Do, I first connect the 5 wires my range has and than remove the blue wire as instructed.

In some situations, the blue wire can be removed. being you have 5 wires, 2 for the inner and outer coil, 1 for the L2 leg, and the other 2 for the hot surface switch, you can leave it on. It is taking voltage from the coil to power the hot surface switch.
