Loud noise on spin cycle and found metal shavings & black goo in drain filter

Brand: GE Front Load Washer
Model Number: GFW650SPN0SN
Main Symptom: Loud noise and metal shavings & black goo in drain filter
What happens & when: Spin cycle.

I’m thinking it is the bearings on the rear outer tub. I have read where I should replace the entire rear outer tub vice tackling the bearing change. I’m ok with doing that, but I was wondering if I should replace any other parts, i.e. Tub bearing, Tub seal, Tub bearing washer, etc. I will be replacing the belt since I already have it off.

Don’t want to put it back together and didn’t replace something small to only have the issue again. I believe in doing it right the first time even if it cost a little extra.

Error Code (if any): None
Parts or tests already tried: None

If replacing the back half of the tub the bearings and seal should be included. Check the shaft and if worn replace the inner basket with the shaft assembly.
