I have the refrigerator below and I have a leak in the “Customer Connect Portion” of the water inlet valve. The inlet valve itself is not leaking. I am happy to buy both parts if that is what it takes but according to this video link I do not need both parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAYsVrm2IEg&t=499s
At 8:23 in this video the person has just finished putting in a new water inlet valve says to take the old part where the compression hose from the source on the wall connects and use it again. My problem is that the old part is what is leaking and neither I nor any online site I go to can find that part or what replaces it. I was on a chat with Appliance Parts Pros for a very long time both with AI and a person.
Also, attached are some photos with a circle in red of the part I need. Here are the instructions. https://s3.amazonaws.com/sm-backend-production-attachments/instructionsheet-w10406282-reva.pdf
I have style 1. If anyone can help me I would be grateful. Thank you.
