What happens & when:

Anyone know how the machine determines if the lid is closed? Is it in the locking mechanism itself? i have had it apart and don’t see how it works. I am trying to treat some fabric and need to be able to add to the washer without it fully draining.

There is a switch in the lid lock that would let the control know that it is closed so that it can lock. If you are needing to add garments to the load just hit pause and the lid should unlock. When it unlocks then you can add the clothing and then press the start button to restart it.

It won’t open until it completely drains the tub.
