The first time the other day, when my daughter was starting to wash clothes, the cold water kept running and an “OE” error code was displayed. I thought that OE stood for Operator Error”. So, I pushed the Start / Pause button. The cold water kept running. I then pushed the Power Button and eventually the water stopped and the tub drained. I started another wash cycle with the exact same results.

I removed the drain hose and drain pipe. There was some crud in the hose but not a significant quantity. The drain pump mechanically rotated with no blockage. I cleaned both the drain hose and my house’s drainpipe and reassembled everything. I began a Tub Clean cycle. This time the water kept running until the tub over flowed. I pushed the Start / Pause button. The cold water kept running. I then pushed the Power Button and eventually the water stopped , a short while later a “dr” code was displayed, and the tub drained. So, I now knew that the drain pump is electrically good.

According to some of you videos, and other online videos, the problem could be related to the Water Level Pressure Switch (Diagram Item A200) or the Water Inlet Valve (Diagram Item A180). One of your techs said that there could be some other issue such as a water inlet filter and suggested that I make this post in order to see if you can provide assistance in further troubleshooting the issue. That would greatly help in not ordering unnecessary parts.

Hello, if the water inlet valve continues to add water with the washer unplugged, it is usually the valve. If it can be stopped by pressing a cancel button, it can be the pressure switch or the control board.
