I have a LG tromm front loader washer and it makes noise during spin cycle then when its done I open the door and smoke comes out please help
I have the same problem. I wish somebody answered this… I opened washer up (WM2277HW) to see if I could see any obvious problems. Nothing looked abnormal. When I was trying to feel if the drain pump was hot, I found a piece of what appeared to be chewed up aluminum C-channel, about an inch wide and an inch long. After removing and re-attaching hose, I ran it for a cycle and it seemed fine. A week or so later, wife was doing laundry and smelled “hot, electrical” smell and noticed off balance and noise during spin cycle. I suppose I’ll check bearings, etc. Any suggestions are appreciated. Serial number starts with 607. I assume that is month and year of manufacture.
