Main Symptom:constantly runs
What happens & when: It seems the wrinkle free function constantly runs when door is shut. It isnt heating during this time. It will run a cycle, and dry clothes, but when its done, it just keeps running with no heat.
Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Tried the hard reset LG suggested. (unplugging, hold power button for 5 seconds, then start button for 5 seconds, and then plugged back in.

If you turn off Wrinkle Care and run a cycle does it doe the same thing?
yes, the last cycle I ran did not have wrinkle care on and it still kept running when done. Once I shut the door, the dryer starts spinning
That would be a logic issue with one of the boards. Since the display board is being responsive and everything else seems to be working I’d suspect the main control which looks like it is has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase. The manufacturer does not list a compatible substitute or replacement part.
The display board EBR80171201 is still available, but it could be either one.
