Main Symptom: Ice maker leaking from left edge of ice maker creates icicle and freezes ice cubes together into a clump
What happens & when: Leak seems to be slow and continuous and gets worse over time eventually freezing all the cubes below it together
Error Code (if any): None
Parts or tests already tried: Replaced the main water valve at the back of the fridge and it didn’t seem to have any impact the issue. Removed the ice dispenser, there is calcium build up on the dispenser but there doesn’t appear to be any cracks. I also checked the fill tube at the top of the door, there was a small amount of calcium build up but it wasn’t blocked. I cleaned this tube up as well. The rep on the phone indicated that the fill time might be set wrong and cause the problem but I am not sure how to reset this.
Any diagnostic I can do to determine if the ice maker needs to be replaced or if there is maintenance of the ice maker or reprogramming that would fix it?
