The reset button that’s black will not reset, will clean all lint out of the dryer as my husband got the back of the dryer off. Is there a kit to replace all the thermostat sensors. The dryer is 10 yrs old
What is the replacement parts for this. I saw a replacement kit and can not find it for the life of me.
Unfortunately, there would not be an OEM kit for these parts. However, it sounds like there may be an issue with either a broken belt, blower thermostat, door switch, or possibly the main relay control. With the power supply cord unplugged, the belt can be inspected for any damage. The blower thermostat and the door switch can be tested for continuity. The blower thermostat should have continuity when tested from terminal to terminal while one wire is disconnected. The door switch should have continuity from the white wired terminal to the yellow wired terminal when the door is closed. If these two items test good, it is likely that the main relay control would be the cause of failure.
