Has anything been tested or replaced? Does it do this on any cycle? Does the motor actually run?
Nothing replaced yet. Runs through all cycles. Just no heat. Did a deep clean on the front lint trap. It got hot and shut off before the clean.
I’d suggest checking that nothing got disconnected during that deep clean, make sure all the wires are fully seated on the thermostats, fuses, and at the valve.
What would be the next step if all are connected?

Check the thermostats and fuses for continuity to make sure one hasn’t gone bad.
If there was a burnt smell could that be one of the parts?
Burnt smell could be an indication that something has grounded out or fried, or that one of the thermostats has locked closed and caused the dryer to overheat.
