You will have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and a very good source for manuals for the appliance DIYer.
Is there aa way to trip the door lock so that I can run the machine with the door open to see what is going on?
You could but you will get very wet.
Should I just pull the sump assembly?
That is what I would do, perhaps something has got into the chopper or impeller.
The manual was a huge help. I got in and just started to open up the sump mechcanism from the top. The gasket (see below MO35) was broken. But I couldn’t remove the impellar, does the screw that holds (M130) attach directly to the motor shaft? I tried holding the impeller but could n’t get the screw to budge. Am I on the right track? Or is the impeller held on some other way? I want to see if the chopper is clear, but it is under M120 and the impleller seems to be holding it down.
