That’s going to be an issue with the manifold actuator WP8572661 which has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase. The manufacturer does not list a compatible substitute or replacement part. It isn’t shifting to allow water to go all the way up the feed tube, this would also cause leakage issues since the lower spray zone would keep getting water that is meant for the upper arms and is spraying the water at the door.
We show the part as out-of-stock on our page, but it has been discontinued. I will have that updated shortly.
Because the part is no longer available, do you recommend a new dishwasher? The Kitchenaid is about 15 years old. If so, any brand you recommend to buy and/or stay away from?
