There is an insulation kit that the manufacturer had at one time had available. Unfortunately, this is not available any longer and there will be nothing to correct this.
What do you mean by insulation kit? What is it insulating? This is a water leak.
There was a problem with these units that would cause this leaking issue on the back of the wall of the unit. This insulation kit goes on the back of the unit to insulate it better due to a refrigerant line that is too close to the wall.
As information, the leak on the back panel in 14” down from the top and 6” in from the right. Looking inside this appears to be located where the water tube is located. In order to troubleshoot what parts need to be removed>
So am I able to access this area from the inside of the cabinet? I am sure I can figure out a DIY solution.
So, there is nothing that can be done from the inside. This is an insulation problem from between the inner and outer wall. The refrigerant line is located too close to the rear outer wall and causes this issue. Unless you can locate an insulation kit that the manufacturer had for it then there will be nothing that would be able to be done.
Thanks. So based on the facts I provided you are confident that the issue is not a leak in the water tube?
So you are saying there WAS an insulation kit available. If that is the case then this was an installable part. If that is true why is it not something that can be accessed. Thanks.
They have discontinued this part but here is a link to the part number. Hopefully you may be able to locate this somewhere.

Is this the insulation kit part or rear panel part?
Do you have a video that shows how to remove the rear panel?
Thanks.
This is the insulation kit and you cannot remove the rear panel of the refrigerator.
OK. Thanks for all your help
I have this exact same issue only that its been there for a while and corrosion is worse. Did you find any solution or fixed it?
