Kitchenaid KDFE104DWH4 Dishwasher, not filling up with water

Main Symptom: Not filling up with enough water
What happens & when: Perhaps a 1/2” from initial startup. Not enough to move the float.

Error Code (if any): 6-4
Parts or tests already tried: Float moves freely, actuator engages overflow switch, overflow switch is working properly. Cycle starts with a 1/2” water, nothing happens, wash cycle does not start then the drain cycle begins in about 5 minutes and it shuts down.

It would be recommended to put the unit into service diagnostic mode and see if there are any error codes. This issue will also make sure that there is no issue with the water valve to make sure that it is not clogged.
