It would be recommended to check and make sure that the thermistors are good. They would be the most likely cause for the refrigerator to cycle on and off frequently. Also check to make sure that there are no air leaks around the door.
Thanks for response…did not see any air leaking at seals. Did you mean posibly replace the Whirlpool WPW10225581 Defrost Thermostat OEM Part….located behind the cover in the freezer(watched the repair video)?
just finished the testing….got room temp readings of 3 ohms and the readings shifted with cold and hot exposure…did I need to be more specific with this test??
At room temperature the resistance should be 2.7K ohms of resistance. It sounds like it would be correct but if you could also let me know resistances at other temperatures would help.
