First of all, I am not pulling up this exact model number. plus, which element switch are you trying to replace? It looks like there are several elements and switches. I want to make sure you got the right switch. Let me know.
My apologies it should be KEECC502BBL2. I did see another person installed the same switch. The directions they were given did not mention the additional wire.
So, based on the wiring diagram, black goes to terminal 2, violet 5, yellow 4, yellow/white 3, the double terminal N, should have a red and yellow wire. You should be using 5 terminals on the switch. 3 and 4 go to the inner and outer coils. violet is the wire feeding the ON indicator light. 2 is the L1 feed to the switch. Red is the L2 feed going to the L2 part of the element. wiringsheet-3190371 (2).pdf (22.9 KB)
If there is a unused terminal, leave it empty. Yopu should only need 5 terminals on the switch.
