I have a kenmore dishwasher model #5871651590. I’m trying to determine if my water valve assembly is the problem or not and wondering if you could give advice before I make a part purchase. Basically I’m not getting any water into the tub. All i get is a humming noise. The noise is the black electro magnetic thing on the valve assembly. I verified the float is working, the electro magnetic thing is getting 120 volts. I checked resistance on it and I’m getting .7 k ohms. I took the assembly apart and cleaned and I’m still not getting water. Does my water valve assembly seem to be my issue?

Since the vale is getting 120 volts and does not open, I would replace it.
Probably has an internal mechanical problem.
