Kenmore fridge door will not seal but freezer door is fine

We received a used refidgerator and upon placing in our house we fine that the fridge door does not seal while the freezer door seals fine.

Your post is pretty vague so I can only give a couple things to check/try.

  1. Make sure the unit is level side to side.
  2. Check that it is level front to back or leaning to the back slightly.
  3. Check the bottom hinge on the door.
  4. Check the top hinge on the door.
  5. Check that the seal on the hinge side is not grabbing to the frame and twisting/buckling. If it is a light coating of vaseline or white lithium grease should solve this.
  6. Check that the seal and folds in the seal are clean.
  7. Check the door liner.
